It's heartbreaking and depressing to think that Americans feel the urge to take on this mantle of "ruling the world" instead of, I don't know, investing money in an education system or the arts. I AM American, by the way.

bra, what the mess why do outside the u.s. all ways call ppl in America yanks. Not all ppl in the U.S. are yanks, it depends on the region. Most commonly the northeastern region. In fact it's a insult to some ppl to be call yanks if they live in the southeastern region
