My friend and I got arrested for 1 joint when I went to see him in Tampa at Curtis Hixon Hall in 1971. Took me years to get a chance to see him live. First time they ever used infrared cameras there. They snatched us up with many others that night. We were too young to mention names. Think it was May 8th.

I saw the original band playing this in Dublin way back when - sax, bass. no drummer - such a great show. This man without doubt is a true music legend. And there may be a 2009 UK tour, according to his website. Enough said.

I saw John Mayall in 1972 in a small venue called the "Deep End" in Park Ridge, IL. just North of Chicago. He was one of the best harp player then.

My favourite song too! Saw him in Brussels last sunday. John still sings as he ever did. He's a living legend for sure.

my dad saw it one week ago ( he is playing each night in small town of France til lthe 24 october ), and it was crazy after the concert he was drinking with his fans.My dad told me he was with a "budd wetington" something like that and they were the best guitarist ever.
