PLEASE WATCH THIS LINK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... man in this video is my Grandad, he was born in Calumet, Michigan in 1920. That's his dock on Sandy Lake, a short drive from the home where he was born. As a child my Grandad would visit his own Grandfather at the very same Lake. It has been throughout his life, a spiritual home.To fully understand the significance to this film you should watch another of mine called Sandy Lake - Memories. It's a film of my visit to my Grandparents cabin and a film that explains how my Grandad was separated from my Mother ( his eldest daughter ) for 49 years.This film, of my Grandad sitting on his dock was the main menu for a DVD that I made for my family as a record of my Grandads incredible story.PLEASE WATCH THE ATTACHED FILM, SANDY LAKE - MEMORIES.

This song was recorded on december six and seven 1967. ( so that's 31 years minus two days ago). Otis Redding died three weeks after that.May he rest in peace.
