Great point - but capitalising "god" and "he" merely legitimises. Using "Yahweh" perhaps best conveys the petty, tribal origin of that which most religionists claim to worship.

biblicalthought You didn't need all that gibberish to claim that your God is the Creator, just make sure that He takes a number and stands in line with all the Gods claiming that title; we will give your Jesus as much consideration as we will give to Shangdi, Bhagavan, Ishvara, Vishnu, Krishna, Satnam, Adibuddha, Aten, Jah, YHWH Elohim, Allah, Deus, etc...Next!

You show your naivite and childish understanding of the world by your regurgitation of meaningless wordplay. Stop disrespecting the intelligent amongst your faith by being inane.

You're right: Belief in your god makes more sense. How, exactly?!? You are ridiculous. Do you know what "rationality" and "irrationality" ARE? Based upon your assertion -- that "belief" in what we can actually perceive and make changes in, rather than belief in an all-powerful omniscient being who cannot be perceived, is "IRRATIONAL" -- suggests that you have NO IDEA what you are talking about, even as you type the words.

These are all just faith-based assumptions. It is on blind faith that atheists accept the idea that man is sufficient in and of himself to interpret himself correctly, the world correctly, and all the interrelationships involved - correctly. Blind faith in the sufficiency of human autonomy is irrational.

"I would think that a grave, with bones in it, is a powerful statement."Very true, it would seem to verify that somebody had existed.

Well, that was among the graffiti I saw in Zagreb. However, I would think that a grave, with bones in it, is a powerful statement.

Excellent line!

Racism is a lot older than Darwin, if thats what you're trying to say. People who try to use evolution to argue for racism are idiots. Evolution explains why some people are black and some are white - it does not place any value of one over another.

Can I get a citation for the last quote? No?
