sparta kicked athens ass in every battle besides this one. and plus there were 300 sparten leaders but like 40,000 other soldiers behind them.not all of the spartans died in this battle, 2 went home and commited suicide because they were treated as trash cause they left the battle.sparta's sayin"come back with your shield or on it"
