Actually, the CD with this song on it is just as beautiful. However, one doesn't get to enjoy the audience's response. I love the part where the choir comes in!!!

Why would that be nonsense? Not everyone in Italy is catholic. There are many Italian Muslims as well as Muslims in all countries of the world.

I didn't mean anything derogatory about what his religion is. I just passed on a bit of information of what I had heard. I am glad if he became Muslim. There is nothing wrong with that. I am Muslim myself. And you are right. He is the greatest singer in the world. I went to see him at Madison Square Garden exactly one year ago...Dec 7, 2007.
