we hav a base captain whose a girl, she pwns! and our section leader just tried out for pacific crest, so wer doin pretty good, but i would say suggest to ur teacher that they need sumthin to motivate them to get better, he/she will probably do sumthin

I'd love to man,but I can't,and here's why: Our "section leader"(bottom bass)won by a technical fuck up, and she shouldn't hold a pair of sticks she sucks so bad. However, we snares told her to fuck off and took over(not to sound clicheic). So I do my best to help basses and tenors, but I can't punish them, because that is up to our drumline teacher, and he is a pussy. But they don't have chops, and you can't just give it to them, they have to work for it. It seems they don't care.

and if ur just doing excersises before u get to the book, and their dirty just make them run, that normally gets us clan pretty damn quick! i think capital punishment might wrk to, lol, ive had sticks thrown @ me for not being clean, i cleaned it up pretty quick, so yea, just punish them the drumline way!lol

o well i play tenors, tell ur tenors, "BOO!" and that came straight from the heart, how dare they not b clean! and basses not being clean, well thats uderstandable if their splits wer extremly hard, but our baseline was BADASS! holy crap, they had a 4 count base solo and OWNED! so, i guess u need to give ur baseline a good "BOO!" as well, how dare they not b clean! lol i used to play snare tho, i played snare 4 two years then became a tenor as a freshman, its alot different, so good job!

I know what you mean. The thing is, us snares were the ones that earned high drums because our tenors and basses suck, but we snares are(not to brag), like you say, face melters. So I'm used to three people (snares) carrying a line of 9 because the others don't have the work ethic to do anything right and reaping the same rewards as the people who work hard for it. So when you're used to two thirds of everyone being idiots, you don't want a big drumline that will just suck overall.
