Ok, not every drug addict is a pathetic low-life. But I'll settle for 99.9%. Drug addiction leads to street muggings and burglaries, daily events that ruin people's lives just for more smack. And yes, drug addiction can happen to anyone, but it's the stage after that when they've fully transformed into an addict that they become low life scum.

You are 100% right.John F Kennedy received daily morphine shots, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were Opium and Marijuana users, William Halstead created the Johns Hopkins hospital, one of the greatest in the world and lets not forget Alexander the Great conquered the ancient world while being an Opium addict.And the "New World" was actually partly discovered because Spain wanted to get to Asia for their gold and Opium.So without drug addiction, North and South America may not exist.

Wow, I was reading these comments and it's quite disheartening to see how ignorant people are about drug addiction.Being addicted to drugs or anything else does not make one a dirty, pathetic low-life, et cetera. Drug addiction can happen to anyone.Before you say anything against addicts or even occasional users, educate yourself.Also, if you're going to post a comment on this, please learn how to spell/use correct grammar.

if your son or daughter dies on it, you surely wouldnt say "oh well the dealer has been decriminalized and i wont do him any trouble."
