I see what you mean, but that won't help with setting up the original loop. My issue is that I can't get the wheel round quick enough to avoid getting some echo at the beginning of the loop. I have tried everything I can think of to get around it, next step will have to be reading the manual!

Go for a Denon DN-S1200! It cost less and offers way much more!

I belive you can save it to be in a 4/1 loop. if you press the echo loop to get out of the loop instead of moving the job weel. it will get you out of the loop. if you press it again, you will be back in a new loop (4/1). I am not 100% sure, about the 1200. but its possible on the dnhs5500.

the 5500 has the same loop effect button however it isn't controlled via the jog wheel its controlled by an extra jog button above the effects on the left hand side. the trouble is, due to the way the jog physically is I can't spin it quick enough to get a loop without an echo in it. Am I going wrong somewhere or is this a huge design flaw in the £1500 pair of decks I bough? |
