i now shoot firearms, but if this gun works in the sam manor as most underleaver air rifles, a way of making the gun safe, is to pull the underleaver all the way back, then pull the trigger, keep tight hold of the leaver, as it will try to close, you are basically absorbing the energy from the spring, remember, keep a tight grip of the lever as it will try to slam shut, in a forward motion, slowly let it travel forward to the closed position, the gun should now be safe and de-cocked.

you just pull the lever down again as if you were going to re-cock it and the safety catch is back on. easy.

The safety is fine, as you shouldn't take it off until you are ready to fire anyway, but try dropping the underlever fully down and set the safety back on if you really need to, or just pop that shot off and then the gun is safe... |
