It's crazy how dark and serious, yet caring and sweet... and at one moment even funny the cartoon is.... I grew up on it... and anyone else who I know that grew up on it loves it.... definitely beats sponge bob square pants... or whatever the kids are being brainwashed with these days.

very interesting..-as we were discussing this animation yesterday on lecture and even teachers thought there was a mistake.I allowed this thought to my mind (continuity)however couldnt explain it the way you do. Thankyou for explanation. All the best

Actually they arn't mistakes - the first front view he takes the jam from the hedgehog - u see him stand to leave - there is then a jump cut, (passage of time), as the two are now seen from the back now watching the stars together - there is another jump cut - not direct continuity - (hedgehog has the jam back and is looking startled again - part of his memory of the fear and adventure he has just had - a final montage of shots.

nice but there is one small mistake- when the bear talks to the hedgehog in 9.37 he sits on the left- back view. when it changes to the front view in 9.46- he still sits on the left (while it should show him from the right side as we use camera change 180 degree)
