JDM-spec STi's use the 2.0L variant, thus why it rev's to 8000RPM and not 7500 like USDM STIs.

I owned both and there is no comparison. Performance reliability and build quaility are much better than Honda. Honda may win for better paint.

The US ej25t STI makes 300 ftlb's.The US 4g63t Evo makes 290 ftlb's.Yep, it makes slightly more torque, but has to use an extra half a litre in displacement to get it...
