By the way, I also do not believe in Good and Evil. Just different perceptions of ones reality. Why else would some things in one country be good, and another be evil? Different perceptions. And I love how people use the: WHAT IF YOUR CHILD WAS RAPED question. Using fear to try and manipulate another's mind. Bravo.

Why don't we pray to Zeus? Well, I was under the impression that we still do. Every religion today is a hand me down from mythology, just recycled in different terms. Look up astro-theology. Note the comparisons with todays beliefs. All religions are wrong. Period. I do not argue that they might have what some call: moral guidance, but in the end, all religions present a fear tactic. Anything that requires you to follow it, and if you don't, you will be punished is bull doo-doo.

Thank you markskye913 for confirming with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY what Dreamer said: "there is no god". Without your PRECIOUS endorsement we'd ALL be in doubt! Can you detect my SARCASM? There is no such thing as a "Christian God". God is God-PERIOD! (exclamation mark). Your sweeping statements about "Roman Empire times" are laughably ignorant. Please try to use your brain and sift through the rubble of incoming information that you receive daily to find SOME modicum of logic...PLEASE! You sound dumb

Dreamerx47, you are DREAMING! And way off the mark! We humans HAVE instincts, yes; but we can stray from them-and often do! Animals cannot! You say: "there is no good and no evil". Tell that to some parent whose child was abducted, raped and horribly murdered!!! YOU are OUT OF YOUR IDIOTIC FUCKING MIND. How can 'free will' be LIMITED? Do you HEAR YOURSELF? That's a contradiction! It's either FREE or it fucking ISN'T! Animals CANNOT feel love! They ignore their dead babies easily. No mourning!

Also, jamessmithsss, terrorists attacks are NOT because of religious beliefs-they are because of the abuse of religion for selfish purposes-they are because of the twisting and perverting of Holy Books and their meanings. These terrorists want what they want and will stop at nothing, not even the threat of their own death to get it. If it wasn't religion, they'd use other pretexts to gain power and wealth some other way. Don't blame religion; that is just retarded!

jamessmithsss, I didn't say 'mine' was the 'right one'-I believe ALL religions are right! But...each religion the world has known was begun by one of God's Messengers, and each One made sure to say that their particular 'installment' was only to last until the next Messenger God would send. There is only supposed to be One religion at any one time. The reason there are so many is that people don't want to move on to God's next Prophet for various reasons. There weren't 20,000 religions! NO WAY!

The Fourth Macedonian War or revolt occurred between 149 and 148 BC. The Macedonians wanted a restoration of their kingdom and supported a man who pretended to be the son of the last king. The rebels overran Macedon in 150, attacked southern Greece in 149, but were finally crushed by the Romans in 148 under the praetor Metellus Macedonicus. The Romans razed the Greek city of Corinth, one of the leading cities of the revolt and put an end to Greek resistance under Roman rule.

Why don't we pray to Zeus? Because, A growing power in the west, Rome, would soon become involved in the affairs of Greece and Macedonia. The First Macedonian-Roman war occurred between 214 BC and 205 BC. This coincided with the Second Punic War, when Hannibal of Carthage and Philip V of Macedon made an alliance against Rome. Rome, weary of war with Carthage, ended the Macedonian conflict with favorable terms to Macedon, but Roman interests secured in Illyrium, to the north.

Dreamerx47 Is pretty close to the bullseye on the comments. No God, TRUE. As I have said before. EVERY culture has had "Gods" out of necessity, the christian God, is the God of MONEY, POWER, and the effects of accumulating it. PERIOD. The people on top say, no because of liability. And isn't that what it's really all about. Chistian God came from Roman Empire times when they were slaughtering everyone to get more wealth, property and so on...
