During the historical Buddha's time. The country of Nepal and India doesn't even exist.Lumbini which infact located in present Nepal.but that doesn't make Gotama a Nepali nor was he an Indian.

Buddha was born in Kapilbastu, Lumbini which is a part of Nepal and it was never a part of Northern India.. why do Indians try to proove so hard that he was born in India and Nepal was never a part of Northern India. In fact there are places in India which used to be a part of Nepal before British invaded India !
