that's how you interpret it...most of the time Chino's lyrics and the music he creates in general is very abstract and what it means to him or you could mean something comepletey different to someone else. and i like that. that's they way art should be.

lupi is right....take the song however way you want to, but if you zone in on the lyrics, it isn't happy by any means. "I am not going to wait for you anymore" "I am not going to look at you tonight" If this isn't considered unhappy lyrics then I dont know what is.

i dont even know or care bout what exactly chino sais most of the time. hes quoted as sayin his song dont always have obvious/logical meaning anyway. give your own interpretation or just ignore the words and let his melody and voice do the work. thats the powerful thing about the artform 'music'.
