what do people mean by saying 'ham' tenor? is it a taste or what? why do people say ham taste or whatever...what does ham mean when it comes to singing

Go listen to Paul Potts. I'm sure you'll appreciate him since most British residents (nowadays) know little about opera and don't have the capacity to judge fine vocal performances. And when you tire of him, put on some Sarah Brightman and leave musically educated Europeans alone. And please don't insult the greatest Italian dramatic tenor of the past century unless you know what you are talking about.

i think i have the voice of a dramatic tenor too,as much deep as mario's...but i havent had taken any singing classes,i am an amateur singer...
