Puenta la Reina
The twelfth century pilgrim's guide to Santiago de Compostela opens with the sentence "There are four roads which leading to Santiago, meet to form a single road at Puenta la Reina in Spanish lands". When it was written the five arched bridge over the Rio Arga in Navarre had probably been standing for about eighty years. It is still there today, the start of the 600 kilometre long Camino Francès
