Cliff could play a more traditional bass piece too... He preferred the heavy wah and almost guitar-like solos on bass because it made him and his sound unique. You can't compare him to Victor Wooten or Claypool Or Geddy, he's 24. I've heard alot of bass stuff, and I haven't really found anyone who sounds quite like Cliff Burton.
